About This Listing

Made in the USA, this guitar features a chambered Swamp Ash body with an aged Sunburst Nitro Lacquer finish. Guitar weighs in at 8lbs even on our scale.

The fully Plek'd Maple neck has a Rosewood fingerboard and a Soft V-C profile that's .85" at the first fret. It's got a 25.5" scale length that's 1 11/16" at the bone nut with a 9.5" radius and 6105 frets. It has a light, slightly aged satin finish that feels great and will not get sticky when playing.

The pickup is Mojo’s Ozark-Style Lap Steel pickup with an integrated bridge and "bullet end" brass saddles which are compensated and notched for accurate intonation. These are uniquely sensitive pickups which nail the vintage character and tone of the original design. Primarily used by slide players like Ry Cooder, Jason Isbell and Blake Mills, these Lap Steel pickups have a special magic with open tunings and bottleneck playing.

The neck pickup is a Mojo reissue of a Teisco-Spec Gold Foil pickup from the 60's. It's the traditional choice for this style of guitar with a clear and detailed voice that provides a nice complement & contrast to the bridge pickup, tonally. All six strings remain in-phase in the middle position.

There's also VIPots audio taper pots, a 047 cap and cloth covered wiring. The Firestripe pickup surround, vintage-style transparent knobs and metal selector tip on a slanted switch tie it all together.

Great parts and great care go into these guitars and this one comes in a hardshell case.

Demo video was recorded in standard tuning plugged into a Neural DSP Quad Cortex running straight into Logic.
