This
Partcaster has a beautiful cameleon flake. The abalone fingerboard markings have a blue highlights to
match also the body. All the finishes
are bright and give a great shine to this guitar.
The
Qpickup pickups are hand-wound which makes them richer in harmonics
and produce a sound closer to the first Fender pickups from the 54's
to the 70's. The set installed is the David Gilmour
series inspired by the one installed on the Black Strat of the Pink
Floyd guitarist.
They
produce a moderate output in the neck and middle position which
contrast with a much warmer sound in the bridge position. This
configuration is ideal for warm, mellow rhythms, bluesy solos, and
gives a thick sound in overdrive/distortion mode.
The
polarity of the middle pickup is reversed to eliminate any hum in
positions 2 and 4 of the switch. The electromagnetic shielding of the
cavities is made with graphite paint. All the wiring is made with
vintage Gavitt 22AWG wire, whose strands are tinned and covered with
a cotton sheath originally used by Fender.
This great looking Partcaster should bring pleasure to both your eyes and ears.
