IMPORTANT: It is important to understand that the mounting holes on this truss rod cover will probably not line up with the screw placement of a Hofner Contemporary, Ignition or vintage Hofner bass truss rod cover. If you wish to install this truss cover on a Hofner Icon, Contemporary or vintage Hofner guitar or bass, expect that you will have to drill new holes for the mounting screws. Please refer to the second photo above for the specific dimensions of the Hofner H37/63 plastic truss rod cover.
