Genuine Hofner H510B Cavern Bass "Diamond" Pickup Chrome - OVERSTOCK LIQUIDATION - pickup only, frame not included - This is the style of pickup that was utilized on the "Cavern" bass that Paul McCartney purchased while in Hamburg, Germany in 1961. Also installed on all Hofner V61 Reissue Cavern basses produced since 2003.
This pickup, when mounted in the appropriate frame, measures about 3" (~76 mm) x about 1.5 (~38 mm). Less frame, the pickup measures ~2.61" (~66 mm) x ~1.25" (~31mm) x .~70 in (~13mm). This pickup will fit most 1960 - 1961 era Hofner basses with a "close pickup" spacing.
