About This Listing

This is a stunning, one of a kind creation by Masterbuilder Ron Thorn, dubbed the California Special. It’s still in excellent condition with only light play wear on it, and did we mention – this one was a 2019 NAMM display piece! The guitar has an ash body with a Strat-like offset shape, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, and a trio of Josefina handwound Strat pickups in a unique position for the twangiest of tones. There's also a RSD Jaguar bridge for floating vibrato needs. The guitar is in overall excellent condition with very little playwear to be seen on it, and it includes the original case with certificate of authenticity.
