Vox AC-50 "Small Box" Reissue Extension Cabinet by North Coast Music - The AC-50 "Small Box" speaker enclosure is an authentic recreation of the speaker cabinets Vox supplied to the Beatles for their first trip to America in 1964. The Beatles continued to use these enclosures during the filimimng of "A Hard Day's Night" and in their June 1964 appearances in Hong Kong and Australia.

While similar to the standard 2x12 "Blue Alnico" AC-30 cabinet, the AC-50 Small Box speaker cabinet added a Goodmans Midax horn for added brilliance.

The North Coast Music reissue AC-50 "Small Box" speaker cabinet is constructed of 13 and 7 ply baltic birch plywood and includes a diamond pattterned handle, an original style Switchcraft 3 pin jack with a 20 inch lead wire and the correct gold plated logo. It is covered in authentic basket weave vinyl and features brown Vox diamond grill. Hardware to mount the speakers and horn is also included.

As Goodmans Midax horns have not been produced in over forty years, none are offered by North Coast Music but used horns can often be commonly sourced on Reverb or on online auction sites.
