In this case, B-stock means that this instrument left the factory with minor fretwork issues, which allows us to pass on the deal to our customers. It's been thoroughly fixed and tested by our guitar technicians, and it has no other imperfections. Please watch our demo video below. It plays great!

The EP10 Black Pearl has a top made of solid Engelmann spruce which is a wood type that's often used for its tonal characteristics: lots of sound intensity and clarity. The sides and back are made of mahogany, providing sufficient treble and mids. The neck, with 20 frets, is also made of mahogany and is attached to the body at the 14th fret. Because of the cutaway you can easily reach the higher frets. The rosewood fretboard has a striking inlay with a tree-of-life design.

The Fishman Acoustic Matrix Undersaddle pickup features Aura Image Casting technology. This means you have four images of rich, acoustic tones, created by Steve Vai. These tones have been recorded in a professional studio with a full-body guitar, top-shelf microphones and an undersaddle pickup. Thanks to this technology, this Thinline body gets that firm sound of a full-body model. The Aura IC preamp also has volume and tone control.
