Select Ash. 5.5 pounds. Original AVRI neck plate & screws, original bridge, original grounding plate in control cavity, original strap pins; added correct Fender grounding plates in PU cavities, added Schaller lock straps (box and originals and Schaller strap parts included).
The finish has some slight swirls. I polished it for a pretty nice finish compared to when I got it from Stratosphere a few months ago. They sold it to me as “mint” condition. It’s nicer now. There are some slight impressions where the PU covers were. Slight finish imperfections near screw holes. Otherwise excellent.
I removed some material so I could turn the truss rod nut (Modern USA neck) without removing the neck. It’s the absolute least amount of material necessary.
The grounding wires are soldered in place and the grounding worked great (perfect/quiet) with vintage PUs (from early 70s) installed. Very Easy to add PUs and control plate as it sits.
It’s a nice body and the bass was my favorite but I need to buy an amp and a cab, so I’m selling off some things to raise funds.
