This is a great multi-pattern large condenser tube mic inspired by the classic U47. It has very low self-noise and a warm, inviting sound without a lot of proximity effect. The top end is very smooth, perfect for taming female vocals that might tend toward sibilance. Also great for that warm folk acoustic guitar sound. Very "vintage" sounding, no hype, just super accurate. Takes EQ very well.
