UPDATE 09/29/18
FOR SALE: Tascam BT-20t 1/2 Track 1/4" Open Reel Mastering Deck. Serial Number: [570025 954] (See pictures). Online history/info on the last model of 1/2 Track Open Reels made by Tascam:

Had it since the early 2000's, probably manufactured in the late 90's. Very low use. Includes stock wired RC-402 remote (currently going for $300 alone on eBay, and that one is beaten), several 10" reels of tape [TDK, Maxell, Quantegy (Ampex) 456] and I have an extral drive belt (OEM from Tascam).
I also have an optional purchase of a two-track DBX 150 Type 1 noise reduction (RCA I/O). I also have a case of 7' Apex 456 reels NOS. Originally listed it at $1895, now $1795. Local pickup (around Chicago) preferred but will deliver for extra costs, as it is HEAVY and have to build a crate or the like. It is like 60 lbs.
The deck allows the I/O to be RCA or Balanced XLR. I mentioned in the video there was a loose RCA plug in the assembly, but the XLR's were fine. I ordered OEM replacement from TASCAM and opened the deck, but, all it needed was the solder refreshed as one post was moving. All fine now. Will, of course, toss in the new OEM RCA assembly with the deck.
See the YouTube video of recording and playback from a CD to see and listen to it in action. I took all the pics I could to show it as it is.
