Original CTS speaker codes date this Polytone in great working condition to 1980. Most of the 101's have the single 15" speaker Most of the 15 and 2 eights have reverb. This one does not. Not sure what the Mono/Stereo switch or the Output/Footswitch jacks do. No original Polytone foot pedal came with this when I bought it, so I have no idea if foot switching functionality works. All the tone stacks and gain work on both channels in Mono or Stereo. Sounds great with upright bass, guitar, 5 string bass. Only thing non-original is the AC plug. Original foam grille is long gone.
I'm selling this cab, because I have finished using it for a recording project. As such it needs to go on it's merry way for your enjoyment, so that I can record other exciting cabs.
Condition is per the pictures I have posted on this site. Most pictures are watermarked to prevent people from using the photos in fraudulent listings. If it's marked Dr Bonkers, you should only be able to buy the unit from Dr Bonkers.
If you price out the speaker of this make and vintage, as well as the cab of this age, you will see I am pricing this fair for a musician that wants one of these. I have priced this out of range for mere flippers by design, so if you were planning on flipping it by low balling me, keep scrolling. I will not even respond to aggressive low ball flippers. Also don't ask me to sell the speakers separately. The answer is no!
I have this sale as local pickup only!!! Please do not message me if I am willing to ship it. Unless you want to arrange the shipping and let me know where to drop it off once payment is processed, it's too expensive to ship and not worth my time chasing shipping quotes. The cab itself is very heavy & bulky even before boxing it up and with packing material used.
