1980 Greco EGF-850 Sunburst With Lifton Style Les Paul Hardshell Case Vintage MIJ

Selling my 1980 Greco EGF-850 Super Real. I sourced this guitar directly from a private collector in Japan. These are pretty rare and this one is in a very rare color. Typically these came in a clown burst color but they made a few in this much nicer darker burst color. Nice flame top on this one too. This guitar has been played over the years and features an authentic relic finish. The neck pickup is an original Greco PU-2 pickups and the bridge pickup is a vintage Burny L8000 pickup. The original PU-2 bridge pickup is also included but I believe it's dead.

The guitar features fret edge binding and a nice chunky neck profile. It's the perfect 1959 carve. Its got some shoulder on it so it really fits in your hand nicely. Probably the  chunkiest Japanese neck I have owned. The finish is Nitro and you can see light checking under the right light. She is not a case Queen and has been played over her 38 years of being alive. There are some dents on the back of the neck and throughout the body. The good guitars get played. She sounds fantastic and plays really well.

The auction includes this beautiful Lifton style hardshell case. The original bridge pickup will be included in the case pocket.
