These drums are in very good condition. Not only do they sound amazing but the Red Sparkle wrap is super vibrant and fits tight on the shells. Modern drumheads fit snug on the shells as this is common on vintage Gretsch drums. Bearing edges are pristine and the chrome on this kit is in 9/10 condition, some very light scratches here and there from over the years. All Tone Controls work exceptionally well. The drums even have their original Factory Gretsch Permatone Drumheads. These drums have no extra holes or exterior modifications. Some of the flaws on this kit include some light blowout in the shells underneath the lug mounting screws and some scratching inside the bass drum. Other than this, these drums are original, very clean and sound like any vintage Set of Gretsch drums should sound.
