This is a Vintage 1955 Conn Connstellation 28B Trumpet in excellent condition. In polished raw brass with nickel trim. There are a few very minor dings, and 1 noticeable one in the bell flare. It's had a Bob Reeves valve alignment, and pads were just replaced. They keep serial number records, so if you ever need replacement pads, they can look the horn up. Valves are quick, and compression is excellent.
It has a medium large #1 1/2 bore (0.459") and a 5" bell. The horn has an interesting taper, and although it's a fairly lightweight horn and can scream when playing lead, it can also play smoky and dark with a deeper cup mouthpiece.
Valves are Conn's patented Clickless Crysteel style, and are top sprung, and they are smooth and fast. Hetman 3 valve oil seems to work best for me. I never actually had the original case for this horn, so I am including the Pro-Tech single case. Strap is included, but not in the picture. No mouthpiece is included with this horn.
This was my main horn for over 15 years, and it's served me well. Now it's someone else's turn to enjoy playing it. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions about this horn.
