At this time Alfonso Benito, Antonio
Gomez and Marcelo Barbero were making instruments at this shop, the
French Polish was done by Manuel Rodriguez Sr. This weighs 2 lbs, 4
ounces.
All Original French Polish. Original Bone Nut and Bridge with New Saddle.
Action is 4/32" at the 12th fret on both the 1st and 6th strings.
One old repaired crack on the Soundboard in the upper bass bout
2 5/8" long and 1 1/4" to the left of the neck. No cracks on the sides.
One old repaired crack on the lower bass bout of the back, 3" long and 1/4 " in from the edge, it is over the kerfing area.
One old repaired crack on the lower treble bout of the back, 3" long and 3/4 " in from the edge.
So, a total of 3 cracks on the body, no sagging in front of the bridge-no "S curve". The neck is not dead straight but very playable. Listen to the video.
