I don't know why I'm even selling this!! I have NEVER seen another in this color (natural) and only seen 1 other EVER and that was a picture!!! just a picture!!!
I don't even know if rare is the term for this guitar!! In all my research I could only find information on there being 50 or so of these in existence. It's not gospel but again I've never seen one so it's more accurate then false.
It works like a Variax should. It has no issues. It is the artist issued edition of the Variax 700 acoustic. This has better tuners (Gotoh) and is made with way better care and is much, much more sturdy. It is made in Japan. Feels like a real guitar!
It has some dings and some small scratches (please view photos carefully)
It could also use a fretboard wipedown/cleaning
I got the guitar from someone in LA who was in a cover band and used it. There is a fable behind the guitar, which I never thought to be true but the pieces almost add up. It was said to be one of James Taylor's guitars made for him. BUT again this is not documented nor am I claiming this to be true!!! It only comes word of mouth from the previous owners.
I only got it because I've never seen another and I'm a sucker for the 1 of a kind guitars of the world! Try and find info on it and it's pretty much a ghost. They never come up for sale, and that's not me being a salesman....it's just fact!
So why sell....well I never play it. It mixes well in a studio and it's got lots of sounds, but as an acoustic solo artist it won't knock my Gibson out of it's spot, so I really don't use it.

It does not really have a case, I have a heavy duty line 6 variax bag I will put it in for shipping. It will be boxed in a huge box and wrapped very tightly....again it's a big purchase I want it to go well!
There is no power supply or chord. Just the guitar and the battery pack (holds 6 AA batteries)
