Rukavina 8 String Ripple Mahogany Lapsteel 24" Scale Length

I've wound the humbucker to a subtly hot 10.2Kohms with 42 gauge enameled wire.  It has Alnico 5 polepieces, is quite harmonically rich and has a lot of clarity and sweetness on the bass and is a little less "compressed" sounding on the series setting than a high resistance pickup, like my other current 8 string offering -- it splits via a push/pull tone control to single coil function at 5.1Kohms, for a convincing 50s Tele tonality. It is broadly useful for a wide range of genre and style.

This lapsteel is priced 100 bucks under the other 8 string Ripple currently listed, due to the BLEM on the belly that goes across the grain. This is superficial and a cosmetic blem, from mill machinery(it would mill out if another 1/4" thickness were planed off).  It will not affect the 'tone' or structural integrity of the lapsteel, or guarantee, and the top and all show surfaces are awesome & blem-free.  
It's a $100 win for the guy that wants a player and doesn't care about the bottom/back of his/her guitar!
