This is a Postal Gulf Coast Rebel hand made at Postal Guitars in Memphis Tn. It has a chambered Mahogony body with a hand rubbed stain finish shot with Nitrocellulose Lacquer. The top is Bloodwood the side of which makes a natural binding. It is also shot with Nitrocellulose Lacquer. The top of the guitar I covered with a hand fabricated Antique Silver Plate Top. The Silver is a bit worn with brass underneath the Silver. There is an antique Art Deco Plate for the controls. The Pots are CTS and the Jacks and Switches are Switchcraft This guitar has a DiMarzio Humbucker pickup at the bridge and a Armstrong P90 shaped like a PAF at the neck. This is one of a kind though the shape and design of this Gulf Coast Rebel is consistent with a Midnight Special. The guitar is distressed with various scratches and dings to ride with the vintage hardware. There is a Schaller roller bridge and a aged Bigsby Vibrato. The neck is maple with a rosewood fret board, bone nut and tilt-back headstock. It has the Postal patented Hand Carved Scroll Headstock The tuners are Hipshot Locking tuners. It ships in a hard shell case
