About This Listing

A 22.5" scale one-piece Alder console style lapsteel with a unique thumbnail maple fingerboard with abalone dots.  It features a humbucker that I wound with 41 gauge wire to about 6+ Kohm, giving more top end sparkle and great note clarity/distinction in compare to the more typical, modern 42 to 44 gauge wire found on humbuckers -- more akin to a single coil in sweetness (a similar approach as is used for Lollar El Rayos, but with an alnico 5 vs their alnico 8).
It drives with a gain pedal very dynamically, in that your attack/picking controls breakup very musically, something I personally like that lower KOhm pickups seem to do better than moderate to high impedance pickups.

Features a standard vol/tone on Alpha 250K pots, and fully shielded control cavity and grounded bridge(it's quiet).  And it features Kluson tuners and tuner pan, and my own 6061 aluminum bridge and nut.
Bridge string spacing is 2 3/4", and the nut spacing is 2 3/8".

Includes a well fitting and padded gig bag, and ships free via UPS Ground shipping.

Cheers, and thank you for looking!
