About the Guitar:

For sale is my 2017 Aristides 070 in a very pricey Dark Grey Sapphire Marble Burst Gloss finish. This is an incredibly beautiful guitar that sounds as good as it looks. This guitar lives in its case, but I've listed the condition as 'Very Good' as I like to err on the side of caution. Take one look at the pictures and you'll see that this Aristides is in great shape. I've grabbed pictures in almost every lighting condition so you can get an idea of how much character the finish has to it.

The finish is incredible, and you'll only notice the finest of scratches under harsh light (see direct sunlight pics). Of note, you'll see an included picture of the Aristides plate on the head stock that has a small scratch that leads a bit into the head stock's finish, as well as a picture of the bottom side of the fretboard binding showing just a tiny bit of wear in specific sections. There is also a nice inside the area where you adjust the truss rod, and it's detailed in one of the pictures. They are both extremely hard to notice, but I figured I'd point them out. Also take note of how incredibly perfect the fretwork is- the frets are extremely well-dressed and have no sharp edges anywhere on the neck.

The Official Floyd is setup very well and holds tune excellently- it doesn't move around hardly at all due to the nature of how an Aristides is built (no wood).

The DiMarzio blaze in the neck has a great tone by itself, but pair it with the amazing Bare Knuckle Aristides Custom bridge humbucker (also setup for tone knob push-pull coil split), and you have an insanely dynamic guitar. The coil split on the BKP custom is one of the finest sounding I've ever heard. The 3-way toggle paired with this gives many options. I've found that I can get excellent 'Polyphia' like tones from either single-coil setup, and leads through a 5150 on the humbucker that sound just like Aaron Marshall of Intervals.

The Value:
This exact guitar would cost $4600 ordered new and shipped from Aristides, and would require an 8 month+ wait to build. Here's the breakdown of their prices from the factory:

Aristides 070 base: 2470EU

Dark Grey Sapphire Marble Gloss finish: 420EU

Black Burst added to finish: 150EU

Official Floyd Rose: 190EU

Side switching offset dots: 90EU

Red Epoxy fretboard inlays: 90EU

Bareknuckle Aristides custom humbucker: 80EU

Shipping to US: 90EU

Customs fee into US: 200USD

Exchange rate: ~1.23 USD to 1 Euro

Subtotal converted: ~$4600 USD

How I'll Ship:
I'll pack it up extremely well using a guitar shipping box. It'll come shipped inside its mono gig-bag, which has an excellent little neck holder that keeps the neck from shifting around at all. Due to the nature of how an Aristides is built, it shouldn't expand/retract as a normal guitar would during shipment, but if you'd like me to release neck tension, please let me know upon purchase. I'll do my absolute best to get it shipped out within 24 hours of payment, and it'll most likely go through UPS, fully insured and with tracking. If you are located within Colorado or are close enough to drive, I'd be happy to support local pickup.

Why I'm selling: Unfortunately for me, my back issues have forced me to go after a .strandberg, which I can play more easily in the classical position while sitting down. As a couch player, this ended up being more important than I originally thought, and losing a few pounds off the guitar is going to help me immensely.

TRADES: .strandbergs only. 6 string hard tail/tremelo, or a 7 with a tremelo.

Offers are welcome, and thanks for looking!
