The '69 VooDoo’s were made to take you back in time to that special era. They are 5.8k in the neck and middle with gray bottoms just like the originals. As with all our sets we do not just want to reverse engineer a set we want to bring that tone and more by adding a little magic.... So we carefully crafted a special bridge for this set wound just a touch hotter for more versatility, great leads and to balance with the neck in the low 6.2's. Plays clean , woody, bright but not brittle and dirty they hold a tight bass. Some have said this set has a tone that cant be put into words they say it has "soul". Some say this brings not just Hendrix and SRV tone but Jerry Garcia "Alligator" tone.
