Brand New and rare PRS Core Custom 24 Ten Top in Custom Color Slate Blue with beautiful matching Flamed Maple Neck and Natural Back. Hand delivered by our PRS Rep in August 2016. Rest assured it is Brand New and in mint condition with zero play wear. If you can find one like this expect to pay considerably more than what we have this guitar listed for. This is an Artist grade guitar without the Artist Package price tag. We took pictures both with and without flash and also in natural sunlight where noted.  Various lighting makes this guitar look very different as you can see in the pictures. We tried to arrange the pictures in such a way that you could toggle between pictures of similar angles that were taken in natural sunlight and artificial lighting. This is one really beautiful PRS Custom 24.

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players. The Custom 24 features PRS’s patented tremolo system and PRS 85/15 pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. 85/15 pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith to offer remarkable clarity and extended high and low end.

The Custom 24 is the original PRS. Since its introduction, it has offered a wide range of unique tonal options for serious players and defined PRS tone and playability. The original Custom 24 was equipped with a 5 position rotary pickup selector switch that some players found to be confusing. This new modern Custom 24 features a simple 5 way Blade switch allowing you to switch easily and quickly between all of the available pickup selections.
