Gibson Custom Historic 1959 ES-335TDC, Nashville made, 2012. Gorgeous translucent Heritage Cherry, gloss finish. Nice meaty neck that measures around 0.88" 1st fret, 1.01" 12th fret, but not silly-big like some early R7's. Nice, playable shoulders. Pots and caps were replaced with a Mojotone kit/Dijon caps, pickups are original '57 Classics. All hardware original and still shiny nickel. The bridge height is nice and low unlike some that need it and the tailpiece (original lightweight) hiked way up. Rich dark rosewood fretboard.
Professional setup, action is low and fast, superb playability. The guitar is actually quite lightweight compared to newer standard ES-335's, and it has a loud acoustic voice as well. Rich and sweet plugged in. Brand new set of strings (.010 - .046).
Original hardshell case with all the tags and certificate of authenticity. Domestic US sales and shipping only, please. This is an absolutely lovely piece. Will pack and pad well in a proper box.
