2008 Gibson Historic G0 Les Paul Standard that has been Aged and Refinished by RS Guitarworks. From the serial number, it appears that this guitar is the first off of the Gibson production line in the year 2008. RS completely refinished the guitar with glass hard Nitrocellulose Lacquer.
This is definitely the most authentic and beautiful aging job that I have ever seen. The guitar is naturally checked all across the front and back, in an amazingly even pattern, the finish is greening in some areas, and it has all of the appropriate wear that would be expected like dings, buckle wear etc. Even the "Gibson" logo is yellowed and has checking. No details have been overlooked.
I've owned this guitar for just a couple of months (the photos are from the previous owner but the guitar is in identical condition as I've played it for less than 2 hours since I've owned it), and it's simply one of, if not the BEST Les Pauls I've ever played (and I own/have owned many). It is a very resonant instrument and acoustically loud and lively. This guitar is simply an incredible instrument.
The guitar is in excellent condition (keeping in mind that has been professionally distressed and aged) and all electronics work perfectly.
The guitar features:
- Weight 9lbs and 6oz
-Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAF's
-Jensen PIO Caps
-Grover Rotomatics
-Aged Hardware (bridge has Hex key set screws on it, so I'm unsure of the brand)
-Black Aged Plastics
-Aged Knobs
-Gibson COA and RS Guitarworks COA
-OHSC
-Frets are 95 percent
Buyers with zero Reverb feedback must message me before committing to purchase, and if you have feedback from ebay, guitar forums, etc. it would be appreciated if you could provide those references in your initial message.
Please ask any questions before purchasing the guitar
