The Heritage H150
LW - 2008
Handmade one at a time at 225 Parsons St. in Kalamazoo, MI, where Les Paul guitars were once also hand made by the same folks.
CHARACTERThe humbucker-sized P90's and the NOS Vitamin Q caps really mesh with this instrument's resonate, light weight body. Phat Cat pickups have plenty of mid range snarl & bark when the volume is pushed. Black reflector knobs & nickel pointers have been added (original ambers included).
CONDITIONIn fantastic condition for a 10 year old instrument.
No buckle rash or worming. The black top does have typical minute polish/swirl marks that are noticeable with black guitars. Pickup covers have slightest patina. Neck is straight and is slightly fatter than your typical 60's profile. Fretboard is clean and without divots. The frets have been polished and are without signs of wear. Note a small 'love-tap' on the headstock - upper right next to the "e" in Heritage and on the upper bout. Hardware is bright and shiny. I've done my best to capture
realistic images; Black guitars can be tricky to photograph. There are artifacts in some of the images so PM me if you have any concerns...
CONSTRUCTION
See the last image for a peek at how Heritage chambers the H-150 LW model; not unlike a semi-hollow body with a center block and no
f-holes. Single-cut, hand-carved top, just like a Les Paul used to be.
