About This Listing

CFox hand built all solid wood slope shouldered dreadnaught with spruce and mahogany.

Charles Fox, founder of the American School of Lutherie, is one of the finest guitar builders in the world. He built guitars under the CFox brand for a short period in the late 90's and early 2000's. Now he only builds custom guitars that start at $15,000 so this is an amazing chance to own one of his guitars for a 1/10th the price. I'd put it up against Bourgeois, Collins, Huss and Dalton or any other.

This is his D-Napa slope shouldered dreadnaught, serial #285 that puts it towards the earlier years. Double X bracing. You can think of it like the best J-45 ever built. It has an ebony fingerboard and bridge and bone nut, 1-11/16". His signature blue accents the binding and sound hole.

This guitars was purchased new by me around 15 years ago. It has lived in a case with a humidifier. It is in near mint condition with just a little wear in the finish around the inlay on the headstock and binding.

Charles Fox guitars don't come on the market very often so jump on this if you know what it is.

Comes with a hardshell case that is a little beat up.
