Hill Guitar Company Madrid 2000 Cedar/Indian Rosewood

Modeled after the Jose Ramirez 1A model from MADRID, Spain. 650mm scale with cedar top and indian rosewood back and sides. Ebony fingerboard. All solid woods.

We sold this guitar new and it has been well taken care of. The top has few dings and marks. The frets show little signs of wear. The overall body and neck have no detracting marks and the french polish throughout is in excellent condition. There is a slight orange peel roughness to the finish o the back of the neck on the bass side. You can see this in the pic of the neck. After playing this guitar for awhile we can say that this is not an issue but you can slightly feel it if your thumb is on the bass side.

Hard shell case is included.

Handcrafted in Paracho, Mexico during the time The Hill Guitar Company had "The Master Series" guitars built in tribute to some of the world's most famous luthiers. These guitars were built by master luthiers by hand. Several models were built there including the Madrid, Munich, Fleta, and Ruck. The Madrid and Munich models shortly after this guitar were produced in the USA. Then they became part of the New World Series now Made in China to allow the Hill Guitar Company in California to concentrate on their Signature, Performance, and custom models.
