Serious player here.
A light relic on this 93' Korean Squire body to a matte finish. The pickups were changed to a HSS configuration and upgraded with a Suhr DSV in the bridge and Suhr ML standards in the middle and neck position. Serious vintage tone from this guitar. Although there is a humbucker in the bridge, the DSV is very open with little compression and medium output. The pole pieces don't exactly lineup with the cover, the holes in the cover have been drilled slightly bigger to fit the spacing of the pickup, the cover can be easily removed. The pots were upgraded to Emerson 250k pots with an Orange Drop .022mf tone cap. It also has a unique wiring with a Super Switch. The back tone pot is wired to the humbucker and the tone pots are bypassed in the 2 and 4 position, letting you roll off the tone on the bridge pup and not have to turn it back up for the in-between positions. Also known as the "Scott Henderson" wiring, very convenient. The neck had a re-fret done with 6100 frets. This makes string bending a breeze and playability easier all together. The tuners had been drilled out for Sperzel tuners at one point and have been covered back with brand new Kluson Deluxe vintage style tuners. The old screw holes have been plugged and the bushings are Stew Mac oversized relic bushings for a correct fit. The block is supposedly off a vintage Fender and the paint has been sanded off. It is a large steel block to improve sustain. A bone nut has been installed. Message Jace for questions.
