Up for sale are a pair of Gibson pickups with a few different names. They are labeled "The Original" HB-R (neck pickup) and HB-L (bridge pickup), but they often get referred to as Bill Lawrence Circuit Board pickups. These were found in Gibson guitars from late 1988 - early 1990. They came standard in ES-335s, SGs, Les Paul Customs and Les Paul Standards.

The HB-R reads 7.23k and the HB-L reads 8.98k. Both are in very good condition with a great patina on the gold covers.

The video shows this set, but they are not the ones in the guitar that's played. I had these pickups in that guitar but wanted to see if another set I got with a hotter bridge pickup sounded any different. They sounded exactly the same to me: Righteous!

Most purists hate these because of how they look, but more and more players are getting hip to how great they sound.
