Early '89 H357 Transparent Brown with gold hardware. This has the reverse headstock design that big "G" did not approve of (so it's a very early example of an H357). Not too many of these around.
All original with the exception of new black speed knobs.
No breaks or repairs. Not a case queen but has a well loved appearance. This guitar has been played and shows it's fair share of dings/nicks/scuffs & stuff.
Schaller hardware (roller bridge & fine tuning tailpiece). Hardware shows wear and some pitting/bubbling. Stock Schaller humbuckers 7.3k neck 7.9k bridge.
Again, lots of assorted small dings/nicks/ganks & bangs but nothing major or too ugly.
4 piece neck Mahogany/Maple neck-thru design. Mahogany body wings. 8.9 lbs. Black headstock stinger. More of a medium + neck profile (full but not huge).
Neck measurements: 1st fret- .849"
12th fret- .991"
Some fret wear, but plays great with low action and no dead spots.
There is a small area of wood that has been removed in the neck position pickup cavity. Not much, and I believe it was removed in order to be able to lower the pickup without the poles bottoming out in the cavity (see pic.).
Original electronics, but I had to revert the wiring back to stock and extend the pickup leads a bit.
Brown late '80s Gibson case.
Really cool piece of The Heritage Guitar Co. history.
