Greco ECG500 1980 Tobacco Burst

This guitar is more LP Custom than it even looks!!! The top is solid (not a veneer) Birdseye Maple!!! This is not a chambered body - it's all wood and all good! Solid Mahogany body and Mahogany neck (usually LP Customs have Maple necks, so this one is a little different). 

Rosewood for fingerboard with pearl block inlays plays smooth and warm combined with the mahogany body and maple top. Gold hardware throughout.

The pickups were upgraded to EMG 57/66 in Brushed Chrome (yes, this is contrary to the rest of the hardware being Gold, but it's what we had and it looks pretty nifty mismatched!). 

There are a few areas on the back of the neck that were repaired - you can see them in the pics of the back of the neck. There were a few gouges that were filled and smoothed, so now they aren't able to be felt but just seen. For an old guitar like this I would safely expect to see some type of wear.

The neck joint also had a few finish cracks near the body. Everything seems stable, and it hasn't shown any signs of movement since in my possession. The party I purchased this from failed to mention that detail to me, so I felt that passing on that info would be valuable to the next owner.

Lastly, the nut was replaced and custom carved in-shop. Upgrade! 

The sound is immense; a tone-monster through and through.
