Here is a Vintage Harmony Acoustic Guitar that looks to be from the 50s. However, it is most likely from 1970s. The Serial Number looks like it stamped 2012H6740 (a bit blurry). The "S-date" is blurred from the Finish work but it may say "S-78?. That would make it built in 1978.
The H6740 should make identify it as a model: H6740 (if that is what it actually says). However, I can't find any info on a H6740. So either that is some weird model that is not yet filed (which is possible). Or this means it's another model more known. Like the H6341, which it looks the most like. The H6341 was listed to of been made from 1972-75 (possibly later too).
Here is some info from the Harmony Database on the H6341:

Body woodBirch

- Finish is very good (almost look new for the most part)
- various scratches and nicks
- has small hair crack on the back (see pic) that is not effecting anything, but I should mention it.
- action is not bad
- belly is not concave nor convex
- no case
- Waverly type tuners work fine
- One inside brace had a crack which has been re-glued (with Horse Glue) and works as it should.
