About This Listing

Here is a rare Des Lauriers guitar rumored to of been made in Japan during the Matsumoku boom or possibly an early Korean plant. Many others made in this Japanese plant were branded for Vantage, Aria, Electra anymore. This is a very rare find and brand-name.

These were made from 1975 to 1985. This little 3/4 sized fella (DE 60) has one screaming Humbucker. It's reminiscent to An old DiMarzio Super Distortion (likely to be a GOTOH).

Everything functions as it should electronically. The finish is a bit scuffed up battered and scratched from years of use but not too horrible. It plays well and sounds well.

It would make a great addition to anyone's vintage Japanese guitar collection.  Since it is most likely a predecessor to the Takamine GX Series.   And, everyone likes the GX Series, right?

The serial number is nine something. I'm not sure if that is 90 through 99. Or 900 and something? But judging from what information I have found it looks like the lower number guitars have this type of bridge and knobs.
