1940′s Kalamazoo A-Style Mandolin made by Gibson USA.
What a fabulous sounding mandolin! Made in the Gibson factory. The X-bracing on this really makes it sing with lots of fat mids. However the tops on these don't hold up over time, so this one has an extra brace added to the bass side to stop any collapsing that could happen. This mod really extends the life span of the instrument while retaining that robust "Bill Monroe" tone. Comes with original chip case.
